Bifocal Lenses

A bifocal lens is identifiable by the upside-down D shape. A bifocal is a lens that has two focal points, usually one lens for viewing distant objects, and one lens for viewing close objects. Generally, you look up and through the distance portion of the lens when focusing on points further away, and you look down and through the bifocal segment of the lens when focusing on reading material or objects within 30 cm’s of your eyes.
